The government has updated the rules for providing training vouchers to help citizens remain competitive in the labor market. The changes concern documents, employer recommendations, and the choice of educational institution.
Education documents. The list of documents that can be submitted has been expanded. In particular, this may be an electronic education document, documents on the results of informal professional training, or the assignment or recognition of a professional qualification.
Letter of recommendation. Now, to receive a voucher, you must provide a letter of recommendation from an employer. If a person does not work under an employment contract or on other conditions provided by law, the letter must be from a potential employer and indicate the possibility of employment after training.
Choosing an educational institution. The educational institution must be selected from the Register of Educational Activity Entities of the Unified State Electronic Education Database.
The conditions for people who have obtained vocational, professional pre-higher, or higher education within the last three years have also been clarified. An exception is provided for those who, due to health reasons, lost the ability to work in their previously obtained professional qualification, as confirmed by an appropriate document.
A reminder: the current voucher amount is up to 33,280 UAH. There are 161 professions and specialties to choose from.

P.S. This year, 170 residents of the region received a training voucher from the employment service. They chose the following professions: social worker, tractor operator for agricultural production, cook, electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. Among specialties, the most in-demand were psychology, special education, electrical engineering, and nursing.
